GRIDOHBGUARD SERIES

The gridOHBguard series consists of “plug-and-play” COTS components that are used in concrete control boxes and field enclosures to supply power to and control field elements.

The controlOHBguard® enables the implementation of proprietary applications for controlling field elements.

The dataOHBguard® is suitable for secure data transmission using state-of-the-art IP network and fiber-optic technology.

Power is supplied via our powerOHBguard® with a regulated output voltage of 400 V DC and 400 V AC (3-phase alternating current) and a buffered DC intermediate circuit.

For field boxes in harsh environments, the fieldOHBguard® is available with modules for power supply, OT security, and optional applications.

The gridOHBguard series is used as a track field concentrator (GFK) and field element connection box (FeAk) for reliable real-time track field monitoring.

CYBEROHBGUARD SERIES

Our cyberOHBguard series makes it possible to implement highly networked, secure digitalization projects under demanding environmental conditions.

Our cryptOHBguard®, together with the genuscreen, is included in the CC certifications and approvals issued by the BSI, which significantly enhances basic protection.

EULYNX Security Version A (NeuPro) with cryptOHBguard®

The cryptOHBguard implements encryption and firewall functions based on a Linux-based BSD operating system. With these features, it is used in systems compliant with EULYNX Variant A (NeuPro) for secure communication via encrypted VLANs between field devices and applications in central control rooms and technical sites. The Eulynx standard interfaces SCI, SMI, and SDI can be implemented via encrypted VLANs. In this context, it functions as part of the transmission system and completes it to form a secure transmission system. Via an additional encrypted VLAN, a central element management system can manage more than 10,000 devices remotely using the SSI standard interface. Furthermore, additional encrypted VLANs can be configured for proprietary applications.

EULYNX Security Version B with the new unilynxOHBguard®

Based on a Linux-based operating system, the unilynxOHBguard implements not only encryption and firewall functions but also protocol converters for safety applications. In addition, it provides customers with a platform via a standardized virtualization interface that allows them to launch self-developed containers with proprietary applications on the unilynxOHBguard and operate them on the secure host system with minimal impact. With these features, it is used in systems compliant with EULYNX Variant B for secure communication between field devices and applications in central control rooms and technical sites, thereby forming the EULYNX standard interfaces (SCI).

With the help of virtualization containers, diagnostic and maintenance data from a safety application can be converted from a proprietary format into a standardized format and aggregated with the data provided by the unilynxOHBguard. This implements the Eulynx standard interfaces SMI and SDI. The services provided on the SSI standard interface are used to securely operate and configure the unilynxOHBguard within a railway system. Additionally, further encrypted VLANs for proprietary applications can be configured upon request.

It thus functions as part of the Eulynx Field Element Subsystem (EFES) and completes it to form a secure field element in accordance with EULYNX Variant B, implementing the requirements of the System Pillars.

With the manageOHBguard®, more than 10,000 components can be managed centrally in a single tool. It is used to trigger alerts in the event of system anomalies. If necessary, parts of the network or individual components can be automatically shut down.
